Is your air healthy?
Signs of poor indoor air quality
We spend most of our time indoors, and indoor air is often more polluted than the air outside.
Dry air in winter
Static shocks, dry skin, scratchy throats and cracking wood floors.
Damp or musty air
A musty basement or condensation on windows means humidity is too high.
Dust everywhere
Furniture gets dusty again just days after cleaning.
Allergies at home
Allergy or asthma symptoms get worse when you're indoors.
Stuffy air and odors
Cooking, pet and musty smells hang around long after they should.
Mold or biological growth
Spots on walls, vents or ducts are a sign of a moisture problem.

How do I know if my indoor air quality is poor?
Common signs are dry or damp air, dust that builds up quickly, lingering odors, condensation on windows and allergy symptoms that get worse at home. An air quality test tells us exactly what's going on.
What humidity level is best for my home?
Most homes are comfortable and healthy at around 35 to 50 percent humidity. In Chicago winters the air often gets much drier, and in summer basements often get too damp.
Do air purifiers and UV lights really help?
Yes, when they're the right fit for the problem. Whole-home air cleaners capture fine particles, and UV lights help keep your system free of mold and bacteria. We'll recommend only what your home needs.
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
Most homes benefit every few years, and sooner after a renovation, if you have pets, or if you see dust blowing from the vents.
Will these work with my current system?
In most cases, yes. Humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air cleaners, UV lights and filters are installed on your existing furnace and ductwork.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the solution your home needs. We give you a free estimate with a firm, upfront price before any work starts.
